Hey, I'm Matt.

I live in Michigan with my wife and kids. I've been building businesses online since 2009 — some worked, some didn't, all of them taught me something.

Right now I run Scepter Marketing (a digital marketing agency I started in 2009), Ecom Circles (ecommerce tools and services), and a few SaaS products. I also do partnerships where I help businesses grow by installing systems, AI, and marketing.

The real story

I started in tech support, helping police departments use software. I was good at breaking things down and explaining them — turns out that's basically what marketing is.

In 2009 I started Scepter Marketing out of my apartment. Built websites for local businesses. Learned SEO the hard way. Slowly figured out what worked. Today we manage 20+ SEO and web projects at any given time.

In 2019 I got into ecommerce and eventually launched Ecom Circles. Built tools that over 3,000 sellers have used. Our community has done over $100M in marketplace revenue on Amazon and Walmart.

Along the way I've built Chrome extensions, SaaS products, automation systems, and more side projects than I can count. I've always had more ideas than time to execute them.

That's where AI comes in. These tools completely changed how I work. I built Alfred — a Google Business Profile optimization tool — in 10 days. I can move from idea to execution in hours instead of weeks. I'm building more, shipping faster, and having more fun doing it than I have in years.

What I believe

Speed over perfection.

Ship it, test it, fix it. Waiting for perfect is how businesses die.

Systems over hustle.

I spent years grinding. Now I build systems that do the grinding for me.

Real over polished.

I'd rather share what's actually happening than pretend everything is figured out.

Faith and family first.

I'm a Christian, a husband, and a father. Business is important but it's not the most important thing.
